This year NJJGLL launched a new lanyard initiative to acknowledge all of our US Lacrosse Level 1 and Level 2 certified coaches.
We will now be requiring coaches to display their credentials on the field during games to participate. Attached to the end of the lanyard is a plastic sleeve in which you are to keep your current US Lacrosse membership card. By adhering to these simple rules the umpires will be able to quickly determine if coaches have met their compliance deadlines.
Any coach who: • did not attend a Winter 2010 NJJGLL sponsored level 1 clinic (Basking Ridge, Mt Olive or Millburn),
• has at least submitted their certification application and background check* and
• does not have a level 1 or 2 lanyard yet
should complete the online lanyard request form by clicking here. Your lanyard will be in the mail in a few days. (while supplies last).
Coaches who attended Basking Ridge, Mt Olive or Millburn were given their lanyards then.
* US Lacrosse coach certification requires completion of the three educational components and an application to US Lacrosse for certification before the background check- click here for more info.
If there is an issue with or question on your certification, please contact US Lacrosse. sportdevelopment@uslacrosse.org
